We cancelled straight away as we knew he wouldn't be attending university, they ignored every single email from myself and my son. Unite Students is the largest student accommodation provider in the UK and the number one choice for students because we’re always introducing ways to make staying with us even better! Staff receive bonuses on profit margins so are very motivated to keep sales. I really enjoyed how much trust they put in us to work independently, which made the work feel more rewarding. All communal areas have been shut which is the reason why most people have paid extra to stay here anyway and there is no refund even though all were pretty much paying for now is a bedroom! The building appears half empty.If you want accommodation with basic cleanliness in what would appear to be a safe and secure area not run by a corporate entity that values making money over your health and security unitestudents is not for you. Pros I worked as a summer receptionist at Unite Students in summer 2019. Making a very long story short, due to mental health reasons, I withdrew from university and was told I can end my contract if I provide evidence. I had planned to stay with Liberty Living in Linksfield again (check out my review here), however they were already fully booked when I tried to re-book. My experience is not good at all. I am having the same issue (did not reply to my email in August, 2020, kept the room even when I told them I am not going to Glasgow and now charging me for 4 months which is almost 2000 pounds) as many other students with this company.
